Saginet has upgraded all of the "A" and "B" carts and has installed brand new distance learning rooms at most of the high schools in the Saginet consortium. The following pages will show pictures of those upgrades and explain how each functions.

Each of the portable "A" and "B" carts has been retrofitted with a Polycom VSX 7000 codec and microphone . This is a set top box that sits on top of the television portion of the cart. The codec and the camera are one piece. This device also has the ability to add resources to it, like an elmo, vcr/dvd player or computer. Sources can be added to the back of the codec with the proper cables.
